A charming country cottage with everything you could want for a short stay. The nearby McLaren Falls Park was beautiful with multiple scenic walks, fabulous trees and a great cafe.

Occasionally the nearby road noise was a little intrusive.

"Very pleasant stay with friends in a quiet rural setting."

Very quiet rural setting attached to the main Homestead. BBQ made available which was good. Still close to Tauranga which was an easy uber ride away.

The girls would have liked mirrors in the bedrooms. I am not a cat or dog person so a barking dog and a skinny cat that took over our place, was a bit discomforting.

Fabulous location out of city & near river. Beautiful decor & furnishings. Lovely pool. Friendly cat & owners. Gorgeous gardens. Very helpful owners.

"Pretty homestead"

Well provided for. Well laid out house. Compact 2 bedroom house.

The bedrooms were a bit cramped. No place to keep our suitcases. No eateries around. One has to go 15-20km away to dine.out

"Cute wee cottage close to all the places I needed to go."

Own little house with a carpark and privacy. Fresh fruit provided was great and the personal touch of having my name on the info board. Great rural views. Comfy bed. Home away from home.

Had some issues with the TV - Julian replaced without issue, but I would have liked just standard TV channels/Sky. Wifi wasn't very good. The bathroom door hits the cabinet if not careful and the shower head could do with an update.
