Opportunity to fit light inside braai

The house was clean and beautiful The linen was clean The swimming pool was clean The place is close to the mall We had all necessities we needed

Irrigation system sprays water towards the front door This is just a bit of discomfort I believe it can be correct ed in due course

Evertyhing was amazing

Nothing that I disliked.

Location, security and the furniture all proper in extremely good condition, peaceful environment

We brought our own plates,cups and glasses incase we didn’t wanna loose our deposit since it was on the rules” you break you pay, their check out time strictly so otherwise you loose your deposit

The Pecanwood Estate was lovely, as always, but a great disappointment was the Boat Club being closed until August 2024. The Boat Club is one of the reasons we stay at the Pecanwood Estate when we travel to Harties and we were not told that it was not open for our entire stay.

1. After you had made your booking AND paid for it, you find out from the host that there is a deposit of R5 000 that needs to be settled 14 days before your arrival. This is quite costly for you to arrange and send if you are not resident in South Africa. It would be helpful to know about the deposit before you actually finalise the booking. 2. We had to constantly communicate with the host to sort out - an oven that we could not use the evening that we arrived to make supper with (it was repaired by day 3 of our stay) + the unavailability of DSTV (this was a surprise as we have not stayed in a booking.com house in the last at least 10 years where it was not included in the services - but it is my mistake and oversight, and I will pay more attention to it being included in the future) + a broken lamp that I reported to the host on day 4, we noticed it the evening before purely because we wanted to use it and the lamp shade was falling down. The reporting of the lamp turned very unpleasant, as we were instantly accused by the host of breaking the lamp. It was our word against the staff of the host, and we had to spend time questioning the staff to try and prove our innocence. It was an overall horrible experience to have during a holiday. There are pages of rules from the host that applies during your stay, make sure you stick to these rules, and you do a count of everything in the house and check everything is working within the time limit to avoid an unfortunate incident like ours.

The Atmosphere is extremely refreshing, The view next to the Dam was beautiful and peaceful ,very clean and value for money ,can definitely recommend for future stay.
