Kingfisher cottage

It was nice and warm with the electric fire and the bed was really comfortable. The bath was exceptional and considering the small nozzle on the shower, it did not disappoint with superb water pressure. Great variety of coffees and teas for all. The stars on the clear night were absolutely breath taking from our cottage.

It advertised board games and puzzles, so we didn't take any. Alas these were some broken pick up sticks and some pieces for chess, checkers and Chinese checkers and many packs of cards. And we knew with only 2 gas hobs to cook with, we might use the BBQ, unfortunately it was filthy & we didn't have time to clean it while the veges were cooking, so we never used it. The microwave said it grilled, but had no idea how exactly that would work, maybe instructions by it would be helpful in the future for other guests

We enjoyed the comfortable furnishings and the quiet. Bathroom luxurious. Neat little dishwasher for two. Very clean. Thank you for the basic kitchen supplies, tea, coffee, etc. Thank you for guide to nearby towns

Please edit for owner only, this is not criticism, as we were very comfortable The barbecue was almost ideal, but really needs cleaning. ( Lower tray full of grease). Nails are working their way out of kitchen floor, painful when shoes not worn in the house.

Good quality substantial furniture, cabin was a mini ski lodge Fabulous bathroom/wet room, nice toiletries Well equipped kitchen plus barbecue/grill, everything was good quality eg coffee, tea etc Good communication of directions etc thank you Toby

Everything. It is a beautiful new cottage that has the most attention to detail to replicate original styles. It is fabulous

The only thing it didn't have that would have been helpful (and I expected) was milk. Otherwise it was superb

Pub was closed but lovely terrace for a wine, bring your own.
