Ulaanbaatar Hostel

施設が清潔で、スタッフも親切な点は良かったです。共有スペースも使いやすいです。ベッドもとても快適に眠れました。宿の1階にコンビニがあるので、必要なものをそこで買うことができます。宿の周りは静かで、眠るには良い場所でした。

ベッドのスペースにコンセントがないこと。そのため、スマートフォンをベッドの脇で充電することができず、これはとても不便だと思いました。それと入り口がわかりにくかったです。今回は現地でクレジットカードで支払ったのですが、現地でクレジットカードで支払った場合、サーチャージが数パーセント上乗せされます。事前にオンラインでカード払いをしたほうが良いです。

I’ve just wrapped up my second summer staying at this hostel, and it’s absolutely my favorite place in Mongolia. The bathrooms are really clean and separate for male and female guests, and there’s a fantastic balcony where you can relax, have a smoke, and enjoy the sunny views over Ulaanbaatar. It’s super affordable and has a wonderful international vibe—I met friends from Malaysia, South Korea, Europe, and the US, which made it even more fun. They also helped me arrange a driver for visiting the Genghis Khan statue, Terelj National Park, and a monastery—so countryside trips are a breeze. And the location is unbeatable. It’s close to the shuttle bus station to the airport, and everything you need—bars, nightclubs, nice restaurants—is within a 5-10 minute walk. Honestly, I can’t recommend it enough!”

I stayed in both the private room and the dorm, both beds are pretty comfortable. In the private room, you get your own shower area, but not the toilet. There is a common area where you can rest or chat with the others. Lots of plug points are available over the hostel so there's always some spare places where you can charge your electronics. It's relatively near some cafes, eateries and also convenience store. It's close enough to walk to Sukhbaatar Square and the State Department Store (about 10-15 mins). The breakfast is great, if you're thinking of including breakfast during your stay. Washing machine and dryer is also available for a fee if you're looking to do your laundry in between travel.

The highest bed in the dorm is kinda high, be cautious if you're heading up or down to avoid hitting your head and also be extra careful to avoid any accidents.

女一人旅で少し不安だったのですが、ホストの女性にとても良くしていただきました。 ホステルから少し離れたレストランが気になっているといったら車で送ってくれました。 チェックアウト後、ダメ元で空港へのピックアップ前にシャワーを浴びていいか聞くと、もちろん！タオルを洗っておきましたとおっしゃっていただき、とても有り難かったです。 行き帰り空港への送迎をお願いしました。ホステルへの入り口が分かりづらいという意見が散見されるので送迎をお願いするのをお勧めします。 ダブルベットの部屋に泊まりました。室内にシャワールーム、タオル、ドライヤーがあります。トイレは共用でした。 朝ごはんは8:30〜です。早く出発する必要があると伝えると事前に冷蔵庫に入れていただきました。(パン、ゆで卵、バナナ、きゅうり、りんごの超質素ご飯だったのは笑いました) 手作りのごはんも食べてみたい… 室内は清潔で快適で、心遣いも含めコスパ最高です。また利用します。 本当にお世話になりました。

Really great hostel. I stayed there on two different occasions, before and after a tour of Central Mongolia. The location is very convenient and not far on foot from Sukhbaatar Square and the museums. Lots of restaurants and convenience stores nearby. I really liked the neighbourhood where the hostel is located. UB is a very walkable city. The staff were very responsive to questions that I had, before I arrived in UB. The staff were very kind and prepared a really good breakfast for me each day. I stayed in the private room and it was perfect. Nice sized private room with a good shower and sink. Good views of the neighbourhood from my room. Comfortable bed. The hostel was clean, tidy and warm. Well equipped, big kitchen. Free tea and coffee. Very good value for money.
