Ngongotaha Cottage

Everything you need, well equipped, thoughtful design and clean. We were looking for somewhere quiet to just chill out and this was perfect. But if you havent been to Rotorua, theres lots of info on things to do provided. Loved that there's a washing machine, would be great for longer stays.

Owners property behind cottage, they were friendly and non-intrusive, but just felt a little less private. If you're planning a more active holiday then my best friend and I, then this will be a non issue!

Quiet location

Cold flooring, needed a mat to help maintain the heat

Location was quiet and well-located. It was a short drive to anything in Rotorua. Beds were comfortable. Kitchen/living area was spacious and well-equipped. The air-conditioning worked well which was good as it was warm every day. The bathroom had what was needed and there was a washing-machine. There was off-street parking. We were left to our own devices.

Only negative point was the clothes airer. It was very ancient and the rusting metal was showing through the PVC in many points. Some of the clothes we hung on it got stained by the rust. Time for a new airer as there is no dryer option. It would only lost a few dollars.
