Bryggen Apartments

Great location. Beautiful apartment with comfortable beds & a lovely view over Bergen.

Location was fantastic. Though views not as expected.

Basics like tea, coffee, shampoo and basic toiletries are a must for people arriving late. For the price it was disappointing none of these were provided. We purchased and left for the next guest. No hair-dryer either. Dish washer had not been emptied and only one bed made for two guests in a 3 bedroom apartment. Gave a poor first impression. Fire escape was blocked. Certainly not for mobility impaired guests. Patio / balcony was still under construction with cables hanging out of the walls. Lady who arrived with additional bed linen so I could make the second room up was very nice and helpful but first impressions of cheap/tight owners was already made.

The apartment was fully equiped and fully functionable, spotlessly clean, very spacious and well lighted. The owner thought of all items we would need such as fully equipped toileteries, a place where to hang clothes to dry (there is a small terrace), etc. There is a tv in every room and beds are very comfortable.

There is an uphill to reach the apartment and a flight of steps, not suitable for elderly. However, we still rate it 10 out of 10 and would go again.

the location was amazing and the flat was very comfortable. the beds had very comfortable mattresses and the shower room was like being in a top class hotel

the lounge was a little small for us as a family but we enjoyed the large tv and bed for all of us to snuggle up to watch tv in the evenings

The location was perfect. Just two blocks from the Bryggen with easy access to restaurants, hiking and sightseeing.

Location, size, view, everything. We loved that we were able to do laundry, it was a wonderful place to have a day out, grab some food and then relax in the apartment. We did a multiple city tour on this trip and had two apartments and both of them were the highlight of the trip :)

I wouldn't complain about anything, one of our friends would likely say the stairs, but he's generally against stairs anyway, hehe

Location was great. There is a hill you have to climb to reach the apartment. The place was very clean.

The back bedroom window does not open very wide so with no ac or fan is was very warm in the bedroom. There are no black out curtains in any of the bedrooms so bring your eye covers.

The code was sent to my email, but I did not have access to wifi or have phone service. My brother did, though, so we got the code that way.

The location was excellent. The apartment was very spacious. We didn’t watch TV because we were on the move, but there were TVs and all the bedrooms and in the living room, which would be great I guess, larger crowds, the beds were comfortable the kitchen well-stocked.

There was a bit of a snafu our first day with the booking, but the property owner resolved the issue fairly. May be a good learning experience to check out and confirm reservations ahead of time.
