Casitas Eclecticas

Casitas Eclecticas is absolutely beautiful. Gorgeous natural light in our unit all through the day. Quiet, peaceful and situated away from the activity of the centre of Sayulita but just a short walk to everything you could possibly need. Beautiful, natural materials used everywhere created such a cozy, comfortable environment. We stayed in the Bunker for seven nights, we absolutely loved the privacy and space that the two levels offered. The water was hot and consistent, the kitchen had all of the basics for preparing food at “home” when we didn’t feel like going out to eat. The common spaces were lovely, we thoroughly enjoyed having our morning coffee on the rooftop hammocks, listening to the birds. When we needed a break from the direct sun the pools were like a private jungle oasis. Rene and Octavia were so welcoming and hospitable, they could not have been better hosts and clearly put so much thought and care into the space and the enjoyment of their guests. I cannot recommend Casitas Eclecticas enough if you’re looking for a lowkey, tranquil getaway that is comfortable and private. 10/10 look forward to booking again.

Literally not one thing to complain about, I would struggle to come up with a single criticism. If you don’t enjoy your time there, that’s a “you” problem.

Fairly decent location and aesthetically very genuine.

Some of internal offerings such as hot water at end of stay, no wifi, and external dog barking which owner had no control.

Four of us stayed at casitas eclecticas and we all loved it. Octavia and Rene have created a very beautiful place to stay, and were so nice and helpful with requests. The pools and terrace are incredible and the cabin is massive with a beautiful balcony. Rene got the barbecue out for us. There’s so much space around the property and it truly is beautiful. One of the best places I’ve ever stayed. Hopefully will be back again one day!

Not much at all. The stairs could be a challenge for the less sure-footed.

We had issues with the hot water in the showers but resolved.

Beautiful architecture in the open air rooms. Room is supplied with necessities.

There are four families of barking dogs. They were consistently barking. This made it hard to sleep and work.

The space, the property is super nicely furnished and located. The vibe of plants around, pools and variations of relax areas with hammocks gave the accommodation good vibe. Felt really spacious.

Very interesting setup, stays fresh all day thanks to the plants, nice refreshing pool (very clean too!) quiet area, friendly and responsive owner.

We ran out of water at some stage and we couldn’t shower for a day but we used some of their other facilities instead. Owner was quick to respond Electrical switches are kinda all over the place so you’ll have to poke around to find what controls what eventually Also the hill climb up to the property is a challenge especially the ‘shortcut’ into town is very treacherous and slippery, not for anyone with mobility issues. So decent location but be prepared for a hill

The pool area was very nice and calm. I liked that there were hammocks. It was clean and very green. The room was big and charming. A very special room set-up / location and also the other rooms looked very individual.

Before booking it, you have to know that rooms are not closed. There are holes in the wall, which means a lot of mosquitos and we even had cockroaches on our bed (which I did not like). The street, where the accommodation is located, is very dark at night and when we were there, big dogs were running on the streets and barking at us. Other guests not always close the gate which I did not like because the rooms are only closed by a lock (we had the first room after entering the area, other rooms are more in the back).
