"Nice location, very dirty and dusty"

Location was good

The house was very dusty and dirty, we had to wash the cutlery before we could use it. Old dust on all surfaces. Mosquito larvae in showers.

"Tranquil, relaxing and beautiful"

Beautiful accommodation that was spacious, comfortable and clean. Kitchen had little extras such as sugar, coffee, tea, salt/pepper and dishwashing liquid. Ample plug points and a variety of 2-prong plugs to accommodate European plugs. A nice touch. Quiet area with views overlooking a dam and rolling green hills. Our hostess was friendly and attentive. Excellent security. Though our visit was for the purpose of meeting up with family again, Thatchwood Cottage helped us relax and feel like we were enjoying a break away as well.

That we had to leave so soon.

"It’s a beautiful cottage, comfortable and in nature, yet close to all the necessary shops etc."

Nice modern home. Peaceful surroundings

The bedding was not clean had stains etc. The kitchen had ants all over.
