Greytown Farmhouse

We loved staying at the farmhouse! toys for the kids and lots of space for them to explore. Very close, walkable distance to Greytown shops. House was very warm with the double glazing and fire. We didn't even need the heatpump. Hosts were very lovely and had great communication. My only regret is not using the coffee filter machine as that would have been nice to wake up to. We plan to stay again.

There was lots of fruit so we picked the strawberries and raspberries for dessert. Lots of space as well and new kitchen and bathroom

It was a bit noisy at the front of the property from the main road but we mostly hung out the back under the big tree.

The offer to harvest fruit from the grounds. Sadly nothing ready for this.

On arrival, we were not even sure we were at the correct property. The lockbox was down low, and you had to crouch to access it. It didn't open easily. Rough overgrown driveway, gardens, and paths. On arrival, we were to turn on the hot water cylinder. No hot water for several hours. Curtains were pulled house was cold. Cracked dirty glasses. Some presentable spaces. Beds are very average comfortably. One bathroom with toilet but a basin in the hallway. Best water pressure was in the shower, but this was over a bath. Not ideal access for any with mobility issues. No milk tea coffee except others leftovers. Not usable as we were unsure of the state Would be better to clean cupboard of Old leftovers. Ì

Slippery shower, hard uncomfortable single beds Sorry but we’re over 70 One of us was late 90’s! We like to be more comfy at night and not scared of the shower

Very convenient location and lovely garden section.

Could have provided microwave and TV, and a spare tea towel.
