Solitaire Roadhouse

Loved the premises and the gardens. Beautiful place, tranquil with a great vibe Lizzy, the lady receptionist is very sweet and kind and helped us with our preparations for our very early departure the next day, as we were going to Deadvlei and needed a to-go breakfast. Nothing was too much to ask and she kindly provided with everything we needed. As for the rooms, they are spacious, with 2 big beds snd comfy pillows. The breakfast was good and plentiful, but plan to come earlier. The bakery on the premises is very good also. We loved our stay here.

I wish other guestts are a bit more considerate when talking loudly in the evening as the rooms are all connected and, especially if staying on the room terrace, in the quietness of the evening, the sounds and laughter can be very loud. There are 2 outdoor terraces the guests could use - the restaurant terrace and the bakery terrace, but this should be signaled by the Management or the Receptionist upon check-in. ( i mention this as we had to wake up very early - 4 am the next day, while the next door guests kept loud conversations until late in the night). The tent rental is not available on booking.com unfortunately, and we did have a roof tent car rented, so it would have been nice to know sbout this option.

It is an intriguing little oasis with all you need. Beds in our room were perfect. Highly recommend!

Das Personal war sehr freundlich. Die Betten sind groß und bequem und die Anlage ist schön. Das Frühstück ist gut und die Zimmer sauber. Für 1-2 Nächte ist die Unterkunft zu empfehlen.

Wir hatten viele Mücken im Zimmer. Wir reisen immer mit eigenem Moskitonetz. Zum Glück haben wir einen Weg gefunden dieses über den Betten anzubringen. Es wäre schön, wenn diese bereits vorhanden wären. Außerdem hat uns ein Kühlschrank im Zimmer gefehlt.

Il posto è davvero bello. Particolare. Non manca nulla. Il personale davvero in gamba. Specialmente Lizzy che dopo un imprevisto ha potuto risolvere il tutto con molta competenza.
