"Quiet stay in a traditional property"

Lovely quiet area, the hotel is a old converted large farmhouse and the rooms are in the style of "Escape to the Chateau". Parking was safe for my bike, next to the main through road. Owner husband was very friendly.

The room was a little small but fine as an old property, only told 2 hours before we arrived that there would be no evening meal which was disappointing and also the bar would be shut. They did open the bar for a short while later. Sandwiches/coffee were available in a small side shop to buy so we did not go hungry! Breakfast was fine but not much and basic.

"The Hotel from Hell"

There was nothing to like about this place, which is by far the worst of any accommodation booked with Booking.com We strongly recommend that it be deleted from your listings for this area. This place makes Fawlty Towers look like a 5 star hotel !

We arrived about 1800 hrs yesterday ( Friday ),to be told that Dinner was only available on Wednesdays and Thursdays. We were told that there was a a cafe open about 5 minutes away but it closed at 1900 hrs. We had called in on this place earlier to seek directions, but thet had nothing available that you could call a meal Also advised that Breakfast was available from 0900 to 1000 .With a full days travel ahead of us to drive to Oslo, this was also a miss. Finally, when I went to have my shower this morning....no towel anywhere in the room, so no shower today also
