Tukulolo Treehouses

Close to nature, super friendly, great food

We loved the setting and handcrafted details of this incredible spot with lovely hosts! So much work has gone into each unique treehouse and everything was tidy and clean.

We definitely could have used a cloth or paper towel for spills in the kitchen area and potentially a few extra spoons for breakfast but nothing that dampened our wonderful stay!

We loved the connection to nature. Beautifully crafted treehouses, it felt like stepping into never never land.. we stayed in the loft. Which had a downstairs living, bedroom, bathroom and an additional bedroom upstairs, which was great for our children. The breakfast and communal kitchen were good. Awesome bathrooms - has everything you need. Wonderful hosts - Ashley had great communication and made a lovely dinner. Chris and his family are lovingly building this place and you can feel the genuine connection they have to the land and the people..

Like most places - There are mosquitos so take repellent. Especially if your sensitive like our daughter is.. But they also have coils to burn etc… Chris was knowledgeable on a local plant that helped take the stings away..

Such a unique place to stay, the treehouses are beautifully built with such a clever use of the wood. It was relaxing to be up amongst the trees and the owners were lovely and very helpful but also left us to our own space

I loved how unique and connected to nature this place is. The craftsmanship is just mind blowing. I wish we could’ve stayed longer. The food was amazing too! 15 mins to the airport, which made for a convenient overnighter.

Lots of mozzies - pack some bug spray (sadly I’d run out of mine before we’d arrived)

Such a beautiful place. We loved our room and the serenity. The staff were so helpful and friendly. Wish we could have had stayed longer.

Nothing it was perfect.

The owners were great and the treehouses are lovely and cosy. The dinner we had was delicious too!

The breakfast was pretty bad, there were barely any options, we couldn’t even find condiments for the toast which was a shame, we expected better considering the dinner was really good. The worst part though was the rooster that started sounding at 3am and did not stop, which meant we had a terrible nights sleep. This was really disappointing, as the property is not cheap, and we really hoped for a good nights sleep before a long travel day. Unfortunately the owners were not present in the morning to speak to about this. An option might be to keep the rooster in an area away from the treehouses so guests can have a good nights sleep.
