Tukulolo Treehouses

This property completely blew me away. The hosts were incredible. The facilities are so amazing. So much better than the photo's. The attention to detail here is next level.

Was more than a words, my husband & I saw and feel one perfect family who creates heavenly harmony. Just one night experience would be blessed us whole our life. I am a full-time artist ,Chris,s life art is powerful and real.Thank you for sharing your faith in God. Love and kind each other whatever happened. We came back home last night but want to go back to the treehouse . We went to Tonga to swim with whales, but now our trip was to meet Chris family.

The sense of community Chris and Ashley create is quite special and that’s in addition to the yummy food Ashley prepares and the amazing treehouse’s Chris has built. This is a very wonderful place to stay.

This place was absolutely magical. While it was a little tricky to find at night, by the time we found it it was stunning to drive in and see just these beautiful treehouses with fairy lights everywhere. We loved the eco-friendliness of the accommodation and we also loved the friendly dogs!

The pillows were quite flat, so for a side sleeper that was a bit challenging - even with this, would rate the property 10/10.

We stayed in the double treehouse for one night and wished we had stayed longer. Chris has hand built the treehouses in and around the trees, creating a unique, quirky and magical place to stay - it is like staying with the elves in a Tolkien novel, complete with swing bridges and fairy lights. Chris and his family are very welcoming and the food is delicious. The resident dogs were a bonus.

The treehouses are somewhat isolated with no restaurants nearby, so budget for eating in house or hire a car - this is not a gripe, just advice.

Mattress was a little stiff. But, everything else was wonderful.

1) This property is absolutely beautiful, with all the treehouses built by the hands of the owners and their children. 2) Chris and Ashley are incredible people who are amazing hosts as well as very knowledgeable about Tonga. We greatly enjoyed getting to know them, hearing their story of what brought them to Tonga and how Tukulolo Grounds came to be. 3) The accommodations are very well maintained and we really enjoyed our stay there. Ask about the fire dance!!

There is nothing negative about Tukulolo Grounds but if you were to ask Chris, he will tell you he can do better

I was pleasantly surprised to see complimentary fruit, cereal, bottled water, coffee/tea in the room. The owners also offer a dinner option. The location is pretty secluded, so it was nice not having to worry about finding something to eat. The grounds and treehouses were lovely. My treehouse was very comfortable & cozy. The common area has wi-fi, fire pit and comfortable seating. It was truly a unique experience!

It was a little chilly in the room. An extra blanket in the room would have been nice.
