Bougainvillea House

Very close to marina in faro.

Unfortunately during our stay we had cockroaches coming up from the shower drain and in the downstairs kitchen area. We contacted host and even though host was trying to help she wasn’t proactive in helping us with the situation straight away and even after they said they cleaned there was still squashed baby cockroaches on the floor from when we had killed them the night before. We also found it insulting host implied we bought them in even though they were already there. The last straw was when we saw a large cockroach in the kitchen cupboard right above hob and so we didn’t feel fully comfortable in the property so had to cut our stay short. If it hadn’t of been due to the cockroaches it was a clean well cared for house and an adequate place to stay.
