Clean and comfortable - indoor braai / fireplace

It is very safe place. It is very quiet place. Nice braai area.

Everything is very good

The bed was a double , very comfortable , however i would have preferred a queen or a king size bed.

The host was just great. The wine and sweet surprise was most welcome and appreciated.

Efforts have clearly been made to prepare and equip these units, at some considerable expense. The WIFi worked quite well. The bed was comfortable with good quality linens. There were some amenities provided.

I am not absolutely certain of course but I believe that this whole listing and reviews are fictitious. I personally chose it because I wanted to stay close to the ocean and was traveling south through Namaqua Park from Springbok before heading back to Cape Town. Hondeklipbay is a depressed fishing village and really has no appeal whatsover. There is no beach access as far as I saw. There is a derelict (I assume fish processing) factory right in front of the property and it is extremely unsightly, blocking completely any view, except from the upstairs. After clearly stating that MC/VISA is accepted and no cash, I was asked to leave cash in the unit. I didn't have a problem with that but it is clearly inconsistent with the descriptive material. The road out to Garies and the N7 is atrocious by any standards (and I have been on many unpaved roads) and this should be clearly stated to anyone deciding to book a unit. Overall I believe that anyone reviewing this listing should be ultra careful and should contact the owner/manager before making any commitment.

This unit has everything that you need and some more. We loved our stay here!

The bed was a little hard but that is just a personal preference.
