Aardvark Bioreserve

We enjoyed the walks and seeing the animals. Our hosts were delightful and very kind. The food we ordered from the farm was excellent!

We expected the cottage to be more remote on the farm. The view from the cottage included other buildings, electricity poles etc The only cottage that was right in the hills only accommodated two people.

Exceptional stay - highly recommended! We absolutely loved our time at Aardvark Bioreserve, the cottage was fantastic, spacious, stylish and extremely well equipped. We especially enjoyed the braai and stargazing in the private hot pot. The farm products we ordered were outstanding, especially the game meat. Very friendly and welcoming hosts, we enjoyed the game drive in particular! Oh, and not to forget the Zebras and Eland roaming around our cottage...

The cottage was beautiful with beautiful views of the hills, mountains and roaming zebras, Eiland and springbok. The amenities were 5 stars - the hosts had thought of everything. Nicholas and Roumie were amazing hosts. We had the opportunity to visit their vegetable nursery, art gallery, a bush drive and to learn about the bioreserve. The passion of the hosts was evident everywhere we looked.

Extraordinary location, excellently presented property and very friendly people. All amounts to a wonderful stay. The particular unit we stayed in was magical. With all the travel we do, I’d struggle to think of a more unique place to stay. The property was very well equipped for self catering and plenty of produce was available for pre-arrangement.

Wer die Einsamkeit und die Ruhe liebt ist hier genau richtig aufgehoben.

Der Hot Tube müsste etwas weiter vom Haus positioniert werden. Der Rauch zieht aufgrund der Nähe zu sehr ins Lodge. Ist aber kein Mangel sondern ein Rat an den Vermieter.

Tolle Ausstattung mit Hot Tub, Grill, Klimaanlage, Kaffeemaschine, sehr schöne Inneneinrichtung. Selbst gebackenes Brot und Weisswein als Willkommensgeschenk
