Carousel Apartments

Appartement très spacieux, bien équipé, calme, conforme à l'annonce. Facilité de communication via WhatsApp avec la propriétaire (même si on ne l'a pas rencontrée), qui est arrangeante sur les horaires si elle le peut. Petites attentions de bienvenue.

Petits détails : il manquerait un lave-vaisselle et la terrasse est grande mais dommage qu'elle ne soit pas en accès direct avec la cuisine et la pièce principale.

Everything was great.

Huge apartment with modern furniture, Air conditioner in each room and a wonderful terrace. The apartment is very well equipped with everything you need. Nearest LIDL at aprox. 2.5 km away. Great host and very prompt in replying when/if you need anything. You need a car to visit the surroundings/ beaches. Lots of parking spots close to the property (careful not to park on the double yellow line marked portions of the street - as fined may be applied).

Very nice apartament and the host very mindful

The apartment (number 1) is very high quality and spacious; the living area is open plan and worked well for us. Everything you will need is there, with lovely extra touches like the aquarium and pool table. The large balcony/terrace is also great for eating and playing basketball. The apartment is in a good location, with Neolithic sites (a highlight of our trip) and the Blue Grotto a short walk away. But Malta being the size it is, everywhere is a short and easy drive from the property, where you stay on the island - esp if you have a hire car - doesn’t really matter if you are planning day trips to the many different places of interest. Charmaine (the owner) is extremely helpful and friendly (though not intrusive) and was happy to assist with anything needed through WhatsApp

When we arrived (late on a Saturday night) we couldn’t find anywhere to park on the street. There are lots of garages (in fact all over Malta) with warnings on them about not parking in front of them, clearly a cause of much grief! The weekend was very busy but during the working days it clears. Basically the streets are packed with cars of commuters, so you may need to just do a bit of juggling. Once you understand the rhythm it’s fine and we managed to have our car outside the property for the last couple of days. Only other thing was barking dogs. I didn’t see other reviewers mention it so it may be new, but there were a group of dogs nearby who barked a lot, including at night. Not sure if that’s normal in Malta. We got used to it, but it wasn’t as quiet as we thought rural south Malta would be.
