Westwood Residences

We stayed here for only 1 night and didnt check in until after 10pm and they were fine with that and had everything ready. These places are really nice. We had the 3 bedroom apartment and loved it. Everything is new and working. Very nice stay in Arusha. They also allowed us to store luggage after we checked out which was very nice.

Noisey from outside. Lots of traffic and people making noise early. Walking from here was a little from from everything

The hospitality was great. We were welcomed by Weik with our keys, waters, and help with our bags. Erik was there for us for anything during our stay and it was suck a great place that I highly recommend.

Westwood Residences was modern, clean, and well-furnished. The reception and staff were very welcoming and helpful. The fabulous view of Mt. Meru was a bonus! The facility had a backup generator that kicked in quickly during power outages.

Some might like its location in a less touristy, more authentic part of the city; others who prefer having cafes and better restaurants nearby will be disappointed. During the last night of our stay, there was a wifi outage that affected our ability to do remote work, and the wifi still wasn't on the next morning when we checked out.

Our stay at Westwood Residences exceeded all our expectations! We stayed for 1 night before flying out of JRO. The property is exactly as the pictures shown- the amenities were top-notch and well-thought-out. The kitchen was fully equipped with modern appliances, cookware and flatware (although we didn’t cook during our stay). The view of Mt. Meru from the balcony was amazing. The living room area was comfortable and modern, with plenty of space to relax. Additionally, the unit has good Wi-Fi and having a smart TV added an extra layer of convenience. AC in each room worked very well. The best showers during our 2-week stay in TZ (great water pressure and plenty of hot water) Last but not least, the host, Eric, was exceptionally welcoming, helpful and provided detailed information about the property, including great local dining options and helped us order dinner delivery for us from the local restaurant, George’s. Overall, this property was just what we needed after 2 weeks of all the traveling we did in Tanzania. It’s a fantastic choice for anyone looking for a comfortable stay! PS - as of sept 2024, as I write this, there is a major road construction right in front of the property so your ride will have to drive around to the back to access the entrance.

Great place to stay! Clean, great location and great customer service. Very easy to check in, and the elderly gentleman at the counter was so sweet! Highly recommended!!! Had a great experience overall

This is the only place we’d stay when in Arusha. Eric at reception is absolutely the best. The accommodations are very excellent, extremely clean and modern. The beds are really comfortable and the showers are great. There’s a balcony that overlooks Mount Meru. There is someone available 24 hours and it is very secure. We even had transportation arranged for us to eat at local restaurants and to get to our next accommodations. Westword Residences is brand new and a respite to the busy city of Arusha. We stayed here in preparation for our five day safari to the Serengeti. For some, this place may be better than home! Come here if you want a wonderful, restful, and highly comfortable place to stay in Arusha!
