The unit was lovely clean warm roomy everything needed and pricing very good. In fact want to book again for next year. Will do that bit later on

The lock box code had been changed and only found out after ringing Andrew. Bit hard to find initially but again Andrew to rescue Only couple things we were not informed that it was upstairs which was an issue older people luggage but finally managed. Only other thing unit not serviced and no clean towels for following day. No dishcloth washer and no face washers luckily had taken out own.

"ANT INFESTED"

Absolutely Disgusting Experience – Avoid at All Costs This was one of the most revolting and stressful stays I’ve ever experienced. The property was infested with ants—I'm talking full-blown swarms. They were in the kitchen, the bathroom, and even in the bed linin. Every single dried good I bought had to be thrown out. My entire grocery shop was ruined. When I reached out to the owner, Andrew, his response was nothing short of dismissive and patronizing. He offered to send a cleaner—who never showed up. He then blamed me claiming I didn’t leave a key for the cleaner- but there was no communication confirming said cleaner. He arranged for me to have key to the cleaning cupboard, where I found ant sprays, and nest bait. So clearly, this wasn't a new problem. He knew about the infestation before I even arrived. Instead of taking responsibility, Andrew continued to push the blame on me, insisting I shouldn't have had any dried goods out at all and that everything should’ve been kept in the tiny fridge. That’s completely unrealistic and frankly absurd—no one expects to store all their dry food in a fridge during a normal stay. It was an attempt to shift accountability for a property that clearly wasn't being maintained. I was so uncomfortable, I left a night early. I was in constant contact with both Andrew and Booking.com throughout, and neither offered real support. After two weeks of chasing, he eventually offered a measly $170 in compensation—not even covering the cost of the night I lost ($280). After more pushing, we settled on $200 just so I could be done with the whole ordeal. Bear in mind, the ants were so bad, they travelled back home with me in my car and own home. What’s worse is that Booking.com was completely useless. They take no responsibility for the wellbeing of their guests, even when things go drastically wrong. The owner is rude, evasive, and refuses to accept responsibility. Booking.com is no better.

"Lovely stay."

It was in a great location. It was a lovely space, very nicely decorated, spacious and comfortable. The little kitchen had a lot of equipment. Big bedrooms with comfy beds. You can just about see the sea through the buildings and the seafront was 30 seconds away. I liked that I we could sit outside. The pictures don’t do it justice.

I would have loved a cafetière/coffee plunger and access to Netflix.
