Escalante Outfitters

The room was cute and cozy, very clean and the grounds were lovely with beautiful, good smelling flowers. The staff was kind enough to open our room for us when they thought we wouldn't check in on time. Luckily we made it just in time.

The bathroom building used be all guests was a little awkward. Only 2 stalls in the women's bathroom where there was a toilet and sink both in the stall but the stall door was cut high up from the ground. I felt exposed using the bathroom. And the showers faced the main door and felt very exposed as soon as the main door opened. Nowhere to change in and out of clothes with privacy. Luckily I didn't have to use the shower.

This is my favourite spot in the area. The cabins are very cute, same for the garden area outside. Each one has a grill and a picnic table. The mattress is incredibly comfortable, they provide coffee and tea, towels and soap. The showers are good, but just two for the entire place. It worked out well every time I have stayed as I come back late from my hikes. What makes this space special, though, is the restaurant and cafe. All baked goodies are so delicious, and the pizza and salads are to die for!

It would be lovely to have use of a fridge/freezer.
