ZAZAUpon arrival, I was unable to reach the owner on the cellphone number provided. When I eventually received a return call, I was informed that she had not been made aware of my reservation. After a long day of travelling, this was extremely disappointing. To her credit, the owner arranged alternative accommodation for the night at another B&B in Somerset East. She explained that the issue originated with Booking.com and not with Denneguer Guesthouse. This was the first time I have ever experienced such an unpleasant situation with a reservation made and paid for through Booking.com. I sincerely hope this does not happen again.
ZANo breakfast
The property is on a farm and there was no one on the farm . We were shocked to hear this upon arrival . We barely slept , the dogs were barking the whole nite . The kitchen winds did not have blinds , so imagine being alone on a farm . The gate needs to be covered so that no one should see the car standing parked as it poses a risk . Also the door needs security door as the place was out of town .

Outside seating/relaxation area could be improved. Steps from bedroom leading to kitchen/bathroom could prove to be improved.
