Nice and quiet location with nice views (not from appt but with a small walk)

Close to Ålesund but need a car. Can use some fixes in the appartment, a small bit of work could give great improvements!

Easy with the instructions

If i have to put a finger on one thing, it would be the noise comming from the other appartment in the middle of the night. Woke up a couple of time due to little but strange noises?

Our hosts were very kind as we didn't have a car, they drove us into Alesund twice. Our coastal cruise had been cancelled so we had to find accommodation quickly. We would recommend having a car as the apartment is a few kilometres out of town. Very nice hosts. Comfortable bed.

Some things need attention to improve the standard.

Everything fine

One of the few places with free parking in Ålesund. Good communication with the host and they were very responsive when we had a question about something in the apartment. Big living room and dining area. The kitchen was well equipped. Good location for walking up the Sukkertoppen (which we very much recommend!) and if you don't want to drive into town there is a bus stop nearby.

Apartment looked like it hadn't been vacuumed, we did that ourselves after arrival. Inside of oven door was not clean and on top of the steam vent when you pull it out (above stovetop) was dirty/dusty so we didn't use the steam vent when cooking. A dish cloth and tea towel would have been nice. These are all things that can be rectified by the host so we would still recommend this as an option for staying in Ålesund
