Was a blast
Food was great. Location was great. Restrooms were great. Hot water! Everything was great. No complaints.
Top si vous aimez campé, le site est très sympa et les services proposés très pratiques
Our sheets had obviously not been changed when we checked in, but the host was appropriately apologetic and came immediately to re-make the bed. It was fun to sleep in a yurt and the bed was super comfortable. One set of restrooms was out of water but the second set had some. Overall it wasn’t what I had hoped but it was still good once our sheets were changed.
I paid a lot of money for this “glamping experience” and it was FAR from what I expected. The tents themselves and the roll away bed/bedding seemed ok but we had reserved two tents because with children we couldn’t all fit in one tent. Our assigned tents were probably 50 yards from one another with 5 or so tents in between us. I didn’t feel comfortable with my kids so far away. We questioned it and were told “it’s really not that far”. I guess it depends who you ask. Checked in and went to find the tents. They physically looked okay, but then we found spider after spider after spider. Our autistic son freaked out and refused to stay no matter how many my husband killed. We only spent 5-10 minutes inside each tent and determined that this wasn’t “glamping”, it was dry camping with a rollaway bed and no pest control whatsoever. I kindly let them know of our concerns and that we couldn’t stay and they asked if I had taken pictures of the spiders. Umm no? I asked for any refund at all since we hadn’t used the facilities at all and was told no because it was a last minute cancellation. The campground is only accessible by truck and I’m glad we had one. There is NO electricity or running water anywhere near the tents. Bathrooms consist of a row of porta potties far away from our tents. Overall, I’m disappointed & out a lot of money. They have a great business idea, but no power and water are necessary to call this “glamping” in my opinion
Based on timing, didn’t eat dinner or breakfast here but liked the options.
Ok
First of all, when I was trying to make reservations there wasn't enough information about the place to make a complete informed decision. Be that as it may, when I arrived I had no idea what to expect the accommodations to be like. I was unaware there were showers and bathrooms like they had there. I wasn’t aware they were similar to a camp site. There were several things I would’ve planned differently had I known the details of the accommodations. It was quiet and peaceful in the mornings. But we had several neighbors which disturbed the peace and night with their loud chatter (in a different languages no less)! We had to pay for the fuel and heaters (which worked less than half the time) and wood and towels. Thank God we didn’t have to pay for the toilet paper or paper towels. They nickel and dimed us on practically everything. They were nice people but too greedy. Just like every other place we went. The way they had the bathrooms/toilets they didn’t have ADA compliant and the steps to get to it were steep and had no railing. The floors after someone took a shower were too wet to keep one’s footing while being in there. The mirrors were put so high I couldn’t even see my reflection at all. But all in all I would probably go back just with myself and my significant orher.
This is our first time camping since 30years ago. We enjoyed this experience; the camping tent inside is clean; bugs free and a lot of room to move around. The bathroom is clean as well; it is bit far from our tenant; then we drove to it before bedtime:) It is a bit chill from 3am to 8am; please bring a jacket. We did not need a heater. Camp site also offered heaters. They also offered breakfast and dinner with extra $. It is 20 minutes from the west side of Yellow Stones entrance. I saw full sky of stars at 3am last night :) Will recommend to others who enjoy camping. It is safe; only cows around the tenants. Road is a bit bumpy. Then we rented a SUV.
Stay was amazing! The staff was so friendly and accommodating. Kenny and Rachel (of Wander Camps) made our stay perfect! Camp was clean and beds were sooooo comfortable. Highly recommend. Can’t wait to go back. BTW, loved the cows who live near camp and came to visit. Never smelled them either!
