I reserved the apartment on the 27th of January 2026, for a trip that was to take place in March (20 to 22). Booking.com allowed me to reserve and cancel for free anytime before the 19th of March. I did not cancel and I waited for the 18th, assuming money would be deducted automatically from my account since I added my card. To my surprise on the 19th the money was still on my account, so I phoned the resort to find out if we could just pay on our arrival or what. I was so shocked when the lady said the guest house is fully booked, they have a group of netball players who book there every year around this time, so they gave them the entire guest house. What about our reservation? She said they already paid, so in all we do not have space. They offered us an alternative accomodation at their second guest house which was more than 20 minutes from where we wanted to be. I mean we had many reasons why we booked at that location, so them moving us to a venue outside the area we intended to be at was going to cause a lot of inconveniences. I really did not understand why they accepted the netball team when they had guests who had made reservations. Couldn't they at least call us and let us know on time so that we look for another guest house?

The place is easy to find and it is situated in a quiet place

value for money, they exceeded my expectations. I will come again.

For a communal the fridge is small I suggest putting bar fridge in the rooms
