The location is stunning...Knysna loeries a few meters away feeding on berries, wild deer, lots and lots of frog choirs....simply Nature at its best

The house is beautifully decorated and mostly clean.

There was a bit of a stinge throughout the house, I suspect it came from the drains. There were some bugs, cockcroaches to be exact, and a live scorpion in the kitchen cupboard. The kitchen is nice, but there is limited "working" space and some of the utensils is a bit outdated. There was no dish soap or small cloth to clean dishes or wipe surfaces. The dishwasher worked well. The vents in the showers are not efficient, causing lots of steam and making walls and floors completely wet. The wifi was terrible, and the power kept on tripping. I also feel like there were constant excuses regarding the pool that couldn't be heated.

Everything was exactly as it shown from the picture, rooms were nicely decorated and bed so comfortable, bathroom very neat and stylish.

There is false advertising. We did not have a sea view- the picture demonstrated is from an upper balcony that we did not have access to. The main bedroom is tiny and right off the kitchen. I did not have a lightbulb in my bedside lamp, so I could not read. The entire apartment is quite dark as well. It was only clean superficially. I found a beer lable (Castlel Light) on the couch in the lounge. The kitchen was really dirty. The cutlery drawers had old sticky dirt, the kettle, toaster and pots were old, rusty and dirty. The pots are kept in a cupboard under the sink and the handles of the pans had mould in it. The cutting board was stuck to old dirt. The only space to pack your food was in the broom cupboard. There wasn’t a dish cloth to wipe surfaces- we had to buy one. The sponge for cleaning dishes was dirty and old. We also had to ask for the internet password, then it didn’t work properly- we had such bad signal we had to disconnect and use mobile data. It took the host a few hours to get back to us, only after i called (I had sent SMS message as well as a message on Booking.com) Lastly, the couches in the lounge are really uncomfortable- it feels as if you are sitting in a plane pushed forward. We booked for two nights but left after spending one night there.

Owner was really nice. I could contact him at all times and he was in for conversation. He gave us real goof advice on where to eat which we followed and indeed it was good!

Only thing that slightly bothered us was that there was little ventilation. The floor remained wet after showering. Overall a real nice place to stay!
