Aparthotel Madeleine

This is a place where you can feel like at home. Not only that the rooms are stylish, have a kitchen equipped with a kettle, microwave, fridge and anything you could need, as well as a bathroom with constantly hot water in the shower, but also the staff is very kind. The wife of the owner and the guard have always been very kind and helpful to me. Also, the location is quite good as it is close to a restaurant and ATM. One of the best things is also that the WiFi is even still working during blackouts as there is emergency power, also for the outside light. This is definitely a place where I will stay again when I am in Antananarivo again

The Aparthotel Madeleine is a place where you can feel like at home. Functional apartment with comfortable bed and nice lighting. Very helpful and accommodating staff and owners. We had some cancellations and rebookings with flights and our hosts were so gracious to adjust our reservation without charge. Very kind and hospitable people.

Some small security issues with the unit - difficulty locking windows which could be easily accessed. That said, there’s a security guard on site and plenty of cameras around the property. The booking was advertised as having a washing machine for clothes, but our unit did not have one unfortunately.

Friendly hosts that were fluent in English. Safe interior parking behind a gate. The apartment had everything we needed.

Brilliant place. Everything is perfect. The basic rooms are new and with complete kitchens. The apartments are very large. Good Wi-Fi. TV had Canalplus. It’s safe with full time guards and a steel gate. Full time maids to clean the rooms every day. The owners are the best people I have met in Madagascar. Genuinely nice people. It’s a great find. There is also restaurants a bank and massage nearby. You can walk to downtown.

Very helpful host, recommending places to eat in the city. Walking distance (800m) to Super U market and nearby banks with ATMs.

The property very very gently

The friendly and hospitable reception from the host and the airport shuttle driver. Lots of good dining options on the outer street of the Aparthotel.They had a nice hospitality basket kept for me in the fridge since I had earlier requested for it. Finally, it's a decent, peaceful and quiet family run, no-frills guest house.

There was no light during the two nights I lodged there. Not much variety on the TV channels, just canal France and a few other boring entertainment channels. My Bedsheet was never changed and the room was never cleaned during my stay. I had no WiFi access as I wasn't given the access code upon my check-in. The shuttle fare from the airport is expensive and non negotiable.
