Nice apartment, not too far from centre by car.

Clean, equiped, garage.

We weren’t home much during our stay, but when we were, the neighbors were doing construction work—sometimes until 9 or even 10 PM. There was no information provided about this in advance, and had we known, we probably wouldn’t have stayed there. It’s definitely not ideal, especially if you're traveling with kids, as the noise can be quite disturbing. The neighbors mentioned that the construction will continue until April 30, so future guests should be informed. I understand this isn’t necessarily the fault of the property owner, and, but it's something worth noting for future bookings.

Location was fantastic - close enough from old Funchal to be able to drive in 15 mins, or to drive to the Highway in 10 mins, and there was hardly any traffic. The apartment had wonderful views of the sea and a dedicated parking spot in the basement, couldn't have asked for more. Washing machine, dishwasher, elevator, everything was great.

Hard to think of anything except the price - it's quite expensive.

The flat was lovely and very spacious, with stunning views from the kitchen and one of the bedroom. You had all kinds of amenities in the kitchen and even access to a washing machine which came in very handy. A cleaning lady also came in mid-week which was really appreciated. The host was very communicative and gave clear instructions on how to access the flat and the WiFi. The location of the flat was perfect as you can reach every spot on the island in under an hour (by car).

A couple of things to be aware of, the area can be a bit noisy at night, thankfully we are not light sleepers but you can clearly hear the building's elevator at night going up and down, as well as some noises from surrounding streets, but none of that can be really helped. The only thing I would say that can be improved is the door lock, which was incredibly stiff and sometimes took ages to work.

The location was quite out of the city but with carpark access and bus routes made getting to the city very easy. The sitting room, balcony and kitchen were all really nice.

There was music playing from the street late into the evening. being a tourist felt kinda unsafe walking past where the music was coming from on the street but it was easy to avoid.
