Fridas Accommodation

A simply amazing stay. The cottage has been lovingly renovated and decorated in a very unique style which makes it welcoming inside and out. Superb attention to detail. It was spotless, comfortable, and well appointed. Spacious rooms, comfortable bed and pillows, and cosy sitting area. Lovely colourful garden. Spectacular views. Quiet and restful. We appreciated the bread, eggs, jams and chocolate. If you can, stay more than one day!

Sitting on the deck taking in the mountain views all the way through to the water was brilliant. So much room inside and so quirky. Sour dough and eggs were an added bonus.

I liked the view, the stylish design, the quirky artwork and opulent furnishings. It definitely exceeded my expectations and I would highly recommend staying here.

What was NOT to like!! Don't know if the view outweighed the decor and vibe or the other way around! The view of Raglan and the surrounding hills/mountains was unbelievable. The place itself was utterable adorable, full of art and whimsy and magic, thoughtfully appointed. We were left with fresh eggs, fresh bread, jam, butter. Coffee was perfectly ground for use in a French press, milk and sugar provided.

Absolute feast for the eyes. Need more than one night to experience all the areas and decorations. Lovely touch with butter and sourdough bread, eggs etc.

What a marvellous place! Every little detail is fantastic and transports you to Mexico and Frida’s world. A beautiful, magical, and relaxing place to stay.
