The apartment is super spacious and very well equipped. Sophia is a gracious host who tends to details and lovingly prepares the visit with flowers, bedside sweets, tusks, fresh figs, water and even milk in the fridge. East Somerset is an interesting small town with beautiful extended neighborhood areas. The apartment is close to great hiking trails.

I was given a room with two single beds. Toilet and shower are open inside the room. For me no problem at all but not really suitable for two persons. I was offered to wait for the other room (which I had booked and which has a separate bathroom) to be prepared but I didn’t mind. A remote for the front gate would be great, as well as a lounge chair for the small terrace. And be aware that the apartment is a in a side building and not part of the manor on the fotos. You are also not expected to make use of the well kept garden.
