The room was spacious, with wooden beamed high ceilings, in a good location

The room had skylights, not windows which wouldn't have been a problem had they been fixed with black out blinds, not the thin ones that were. The wooden floors were so noisy that we could hear every movement from the adjacent rooms. Our friends from the room next door could hear us and we could hear them. The mattress was extremely uncomfortable with the protruding springs making it impossible to sleep(see pics). The mattress was old and worn out and we discovered it was nearly 10 years old (see pics). We were forced to sleep on the sofa bed that was not big enough for two adults, it was stained (see pics) and smelly. We wrote to the owner, who whilst apologetic, could not provide any alternative. He did not offer a refund, discount or even a bottle of wine as a goodwill gesture. Overall, we've spent two uncomfortable, sleepless nights there.

Located close to the city centre, but away from the crowd and noise. A Victorian style building nicely decorated. Spacious rooms and very clean.

To get a parking space is a struggle. The property does not have one and the public parking around gets quickly filled up.

It was very clean and very close to the old town. Five minutes walking till Black Church.

The air conditioning was missing due to the fact that the apartment is in a historical building.
