IEI loved my stay at Stadshotell. It's a beautiful building with elegant decor and wonderful staff - the ladies at reception were so fab, Annika in particular, I chatted lots to. The restaurant is gorgeous and buzzing on an evening - great food and cocktails. I also loved the private sauna and plunge pool, which I made full use of a couple of times. Would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others.
The breakfast menu was a little limited for me, I'd love to see some bacon on there or even some avocado! But this is a small thing in and otherwise magical stay.

CNServicen hos personalen var lite svajig i receptionen, hade förväntat oss top top service för det priset. Vi bokade bastu med det hade missats/ glömts bort och fick bl.a. två vänsterfötter i tofflor. Vid utchecknings började dom ta betalt för fel rum och vill ha betalt igen fast vi redan hade betalt i appen. Detta är bara små detaljer men som man på det stora hela drar ner det från 5 stjärnor till 4 stjärnor. Men hotellet är JÄTTE fint och allt annat var jätte bra.
GBThe staff at the Stockholm Stadshotell were exceptional, so welcoming and engaging, they really stood out as making our stay. The decor was top quality in a beautiful understated way. With a very comfy bed. The food was delicious, we enjoyed eating there for two breakfasts and two dinners out of the five nights, and compared to other restaurants, it was our favourite food and ambience. We only ate else where to experience other aspects of the city. The added bonus of our stay was the private sauna experience with cold water plunge pool, that was fabulous. The hotel is located in a quieter area but just a short distance to walk to shops, bars, cafes, tube station, waterfront and other areas of Stockholm, so was really convenient.
There was nothing to dislike to our mind. But a tip would be to ask how to turn the air con/ heating on/off. The button is so discrete and looks like a light switch.
