Thank you to Julia, Juan, A-bon, Jo-Jo, and Kent! You are so welcoming and genuine, it was a pleasure being looked after so attentively. Firstly, please visit Port Barton with the right expectations. We arrived shortly after a Typhoon. The WHOLE village (small town) was flooded, which resulted in problems for everyone. At various times over 9 days, in different venues I.e. accommodations, cafes, bars... there was no running water. Intermittent electric power, and wifi loss. DIVINIAGRACIA suffered with this, as did everywhere else. We adapted, but some can't. Not fair to blame owners (here or anywhere) but the Family here were so apologetic, and went to great lengths to make it up. For the price we paid, and the terrific location; I would both recommend, and stay myself again. I would suggest that Sustainable Development for the whole area is the way forward... these Tax pesos need to spent more wisely. E.g small scale hydro electric on the streams and rivers that ALL run out of the hills INTO the village. Flood retention areas, more planting, less concrete, solar etc etc. Planning to build with less Concrete might be an idea too. I sincerely hope to return, and see progress. Otherwise, I fear for the local people's security, and future. Not to mention the flora and fauna, which is abundant... but under threat from hordes of tourists. Top Lage, sehr liebenswerte Gastgeberin, sehr sauber, haben uns immer zu 100% sicher gefühlt

Keine Kritik an der Unterkunft selbst, nur in Bezug auf das Tierwohl. Zum einen, wurden Schildkröten bei der Tour A vom Boot aus gefüttert. Sie verlieren ihre natürlichen Jagdinstinkte und werden auf diese unnatürliche Nahrungsquelle angewiesen. Müll und Umweltverschmutzung: Reste von Brot, Fischresten und anderen Futtermitteln, die ins Meer geworfen werden, ziehen nicht nur andere Tiere an, sondern belasten auch die Umwelt. Zum anderen hoffe ich, dass mit dem Familienhund spazieren gegangen und gespielt wird. Es wäre super, wenn an der Haustüre ein Kindergitter für den Hund angebracht wird, so kann er sich frei auf dem Gelände bewegen und muss nicht im Gitterkäfig ausharren. Wir waren untertags unterwegs, weshalb wir das nicht einschätzen können. Wir wünschen es uns für seine Lebensqualität.

Aardige mensen. Accommodatie ligt nagenoeg aan het strand naast alle gezellige restaurantjes maar geen geluidsoverlast.

Jammer dat we er niet konden ontbijten maar gelukkig om te hoek genoeg restaurantjes

Location was great, right next to the beach and beach bars but away from the centre of town's noise.

Couldn't charge devices as the power outlets were too loose for adaptor.
