"Disgusting Service"

I booked via booking.com platform and my booking was confirmed. I received a call from the owner advising me that there are no rooms available. I should cancel my booking as the guesthouse is under renovations. She refunded me less commision. That put me under a lot of stress as I had to find alternative place to sleep. Moreover I had to pay for alternative accomodation whilst awaiting my refund. I also didnt understand why she had to deduct a commission when there was no service rendered. Regards. Dave

The fact that I completed the booking and paid for the accomodation without any notification that there are rooms available. I view this as a money making scam. Deduction of commission when there was no service rendered made me very angry.

"We enjoyed our stay!"

The host was friendly and welcoming. The place exceeded our expectations considering that it’s in Carletonville, we will definitely book here next time we visit.

Everything else was great, it would be nice if they’d have soap/shower gel and a shower cap.

It was very clean and beautiful. The bed was comfortable.

They were not answering their phone when we got there , we stood outside for more than an hour . We went to the neighbour opposite them and the neighbour called her for us . She came very late , she said she wasn’t told that we’re coming And there’s no house number or something written the name of the guesthouse at least .

The location is hard to locate. The owner was not answering the phone. The helper did not know we were coming. We found clothes in our room. Very unprofessional.
