Noordoewer Guesthouse

Conveniently located just across the border. Offers great amenities, comfortable rooms and great food. The staff were very friendly and the breakfast included was delicious. If you have to leave early before the 7am breakfast, they offer to pack breakfast bags - which I found really accommodating. Would definitely recommend Noordoewer Guesthouse.

The aircon in the room as well as the minibar fridge was quite noisy.

Meals are provided for if you book in advance, which makes it very convenient after a long days travel. The meals are good quality home cooked meals. Location is just inside Namibian Boarder so ideal for the first stop over into Namibia, from S.A Side. Nice views of the Orange River from the restaurant, at Sunset.

First room had a sewerage/drain smell. But hosts where quick to rectify and gave us an alternative room which was so much better.

Breakfast was good. Staff were friendly - especially security guards facilitating late-night check-in. Ambience is fantastic and scenery is stunning.

Property in good state of repair in well-kept garden with lapa and swimming pool. Staff was friendly and accommodating.

Would have preferred if the toilet was seperate. I simply cannot get used to the idea of openplan room/bathroom/toilet. Restaurant had only two options: steak or fish.

Location Neat and tasteful. friendly staff. Lovely garden and pool.

Aircon was noisy at night.- had to turn it off. Complimentary drinking water would be lovely,seeing that water is not suitable to drink Steep rates.
