Dust in shelves. Mould in shower

The accommodation was comfortable and very clean. Staff was friendly.

I would have liked for breakfast to be offered or pricing of meals at accommodation to be affordable, especially if someone is on a budget

We were travelling from across the border, our Garmin started acting up and the mobile connection wasnt great due to load shedding. We called Louise to inform her that we were on our way around 830pm, but struggling with our Garmin. With no empathy at all she curtly reminded us the Check in is only available until 9pm. Luckily we made it just before 9pm only to be received by a shirtless boy who scurried from the property opposite handed over the keys mumbled something and off he went. We had to figure out what key unlocked which door, how the garage remote worked,etc! Imagine entering into a dark room with no idea where the light switches are. The top of the headboards were very dusty and our asthmatic boys was sneezing all night, my wife had to clean these the next day. The next morning we were woken by loud banging on the door, alarmed we asked who it is? And the person responded by demanding that we open the door to take out something from the room. It turns it was the house who wanted to get a phone had been left in one of the drawers, but the lack of courtesy and a matter of fact attitude!!!! Image to our horror when we return from a long day out to come back to a place that had not been cleaned at all!! I sent a Whatsapp message to Louise to ask why there was not house keeping, which message was blue ticked!! Just imagine, however the next day house keeping was done with no explaination or apology of why it was not done the previous day. Oh the mosquitoes in that place, that goodness we always move around with peaceful sleep. I have read the reviews on this property and most of them are positive and speak well of Louise being there to meet them and tend to their needs, but this was not the case with us. We travel a lot extensively locally in my home country, in the region and international, I am sorry to say this will go down as one of my worst experiences. Louise and Roosthaven couldnt spare just 5 minutes to send someone to check on us, that would have been

Room smelled like smoke cause of the previous guy sleeping there.... i know its not the owners fault but wish they warned us( to get a different place) or gave us another room, im pregnant and was sick all night cause of the smoke. Place needs alittle upgrade. Bedding wasnt clean. Headboard was dirty.
