Mangoverde guesthouse was one of our favorite accommodations in Philipinnes. Room was big and very clean. Stuff was incredibly kind and helpful. They recommended us laundry service in the city and also motorbike rental from neighbors, which turned out to be the best and the cheapest one during our trip (350 pesos per day). I highly recommend this place!

Be aware that the place is relatively far from all the happening, it's still a walking distance to all bars and restaurants, but it's much more convenient to rent a motorbike.

Clean rooms, super friendly host

Spacious room and bathroom, very clean. Location 5/7minutes walk on a slightly dark but safe and paved road. Away from the noise of the Centre and quiet location. Very friendly staff and easy to rent motorbike next door.

No breakfast, it’s a shame as it would be so nice to have breakfast in the bedroom terrace. Maybe something that could be added in future :) however they lend us their kettle to make coffee which was very helpful! no hot water but it wasn’t too cold either.

Place was clean, the staff extremely friendly.

The aircon was so loud it was difficult to sleep through the night. Without ac it was melting hot, so I ended up sleeping with the ear plugs. Also shower was leaking and taps were very old.

It was close to the center and beaches, the staff was very friendly.

The room was just two bunk beds and a coffee table, nothing else, not even cups. It was full of ants and other bugs on the floor. AC was very loud even on low mode.

- Good a/c - Everything you need e.g. towels, soap - Friendly staff always there to help - Quite area out of town but only a 10/15 minute easy walk - It seems they have listened to previous feedback since our room had a bedside table and clothing rail to hang clothes
