It is a basement apartment with access keys, so we didn’t have to meet the owner. We stayed only for one night and were lucky because we were the only guests in the apartment, so we didn’t have to share the bathroom. However, if it were fully occupied, it would be a nightmare, as there is only one bathroom for up to 10 people. We stayed in a room for three people, but the sofa bed was a nightmare—so hard that we could not sleep at all. The price is expensive considering the shared bathroom and WC. The owner charges for bed linen and towels, probably to compensate for the fee paid to Booking.com. I am a frequent traveler and have never been charged extra for shared rooms in rural locations. You cannot attract guests to stay in your place if you charge for towels and bed linen. Even if you pay, you should provide and arrange the linen yourself. Instead, they charge extra for bed linen and then make you put it on the bed yourself, even if you are already tired from a long journey. There is a dishwasher, but they mark it as damaged, probably to save on electricity costs, so guests are not allowed to use it.
