Nice quiet, clean house at a dead end street very near to Strömstad. Great host.

Very friendly host and super clean house! We were traveling by bicycle and were allowed to store the bikes inside. They even offered us tools if we needed to do a repair, which wasn't the case but very kind :)

The property is located in a tranquil and peaceful cul-de-sac on the edge of Strömstad. It’s surrounded by greenery and has a river running past it. The house itself is very spacious, and proved palatial for our group of 3. Our hosts Marcus and his wife were graceful and friendly, and went out of their way to ensure our stay was a pleasant one. I would highly recommend staying at this property (particularly if prospective guests have their own set of wheels, as the location might prove hard to reach by picking transport!). One point worth mentioning is that the owners have two large dogs (extremely well behaved!), which our group became very fond of and attached to, but it is appreciable that this might prove a problem for some.

The house is located in a secluded location and the end of a road. The host is very kind and took time to talk to us and explain things about the location, his history, living in Sweden. He also offered for our child to use the toys of his own son that was around the same age. The hosts' family previously lived in the property until last year, before moving next door. So the property is fully equipped. There are plenty of beds upstairs (4 single that you could combine to form doubles, 1 double) and a lot of floor space remaining so you could stay with an extended family.

Nothing disappointed us. The host is still working on improvements such as working on landscaping and improving facilities. so I expect things only to get better over time. It wasn't necessary at the time of our stay, but if I were to offer one tip for improvement, it would be to add screens to keep out mosquitos and midges to (some of) the windows during the summer months.
