Belcharto Accommodation

We booked for 2 nights and stayed for 1. We very quickly dropped our bags when collected the keys, I noticed there was no covers on the pillows and asked that it should be covered. When we arrived late at night there where 2 pillow covers left on the table. The soap in the shower is a used soapbar.

Not much to like, however host was very accommodating and helpful.

Cottages are old, road is a 3km gravel road not bery pleasant. Not aircon but fans were provided. Toilet broke on first night and water leaking from sink.

The location and accom is perfect for large groups. We were 20 people and each had his own bed spread over for apartments. The views are amazing and added to that the sun deck and swimming pool. The rooms are comfortable, clean and everything works. Well done Belcharto !

For us the location was excellent. Centrally located between Franschhoek and Cape Town which was perfect for our final few days of the holiday. Johnny our host was very communicative and helpful.

The view from the room was beautiful and the location was great as we were attending a wine festival near by. The host was very helpful and friendly.

The sheets on the beds looked like they were 100 years old. The sitting room was not very comfortable. The furnishings were very old. The shower was the worse. The water sprayed everywhere and the pressure was so bad.

The location is pristine, picturesque and quite peaceful. The access to the accommodation is hassle free and swift. They have a nice little braai / BBQ area. I would highly recommend going for a morning walk and take in the places nature and surroundings.

I would not say there is anything that I severely did not like. Call reception and internet is not the best in the area but that's not a massive issue - as the place is mainly for relaxation and gettting away.
