Appartement sympathique

The neighborhood is unpleasant, with poorly maintained buildings and noise from children playing outside. There is no private parking, so you are forced to compete for limited street spots in an already overcrowded area. The apartment itself was in unacceptable condition. It had a strong, unpleasant smell, was extremely dark due to being on the ground floor with virtually no natural light, and had visible humidity damage on the walls. The furniture was old, worn out, and clearly not properly maintained. What made the experience worse was the owner’s behavior. He initially assured me that I could cancel free of charge given these issues. However, once I submitted the cancellation request through Booking.com upon his request, he first charged me for one night and then asked to charge me for the full stay; completely inconsistent and misleading. He then insulted me via WhatsApp and blocked me, which is entirely unprofessional and unacceptable. In the end, I was forced to pay for two nights without even staying at the property. A very disappointing and frustrating experience overall.

Great place with lots of space and fully equipped kitchen. Bathroom was good and the whole place was very clean. The area was very safe and quiet.

The flat is far from the centre of the city, which is difficult if you want to visit marrakech a lot. The sofa beds are just the sofas, but they were comfortable, although they did not have proper sheets. There were only two towels.
