Sandtorgholmen Glamping

Beautiful location: you basically open the tent onto the Fjord! Buildings around are very nice too: an old farm that's been modified into a hotel. Good service, staff was very helpful and friendly. There's an excellent sauna right next to the tents with views of the fjord as well.

The distance to the shower facilities is a bit far, though toilets are available in the main building right next to the tent. The dinner buffet and breakfast are limited, could clearly use improvement in quality and diversity. Half of the lamps of the tent were not working.

This would be an awesome place to stay during summer days - you can open the tent and have water just in front of you. We stayed at the beginning of September, and I'd say that it was a little too cold. Very welcoming hosts, great 'home-style cooked' dinner available (which I enjoyed very much), and good breakfast. Water/tea/coffee is available all the time. There is also a sauna you can book.

FYI, there is a restroom on the first floor of the main building, but if you want to take a shower then you need to go all the way back to the parking lot where the shared shower is located. Can be a little bit noisy during the night since the port, airport (and maybe snoring neighbor) are nearby. The batteries in all the candles died so we only had fairy lights.

Good view, comfotable beds, heater inside the tent. Very friendly and helpful staff! Tasty breakfast included.

Showers are pretty far away from the tents. It gets loud at night.
