The area, location

The area itself is nice, but the place was in terrible chaos and the photos are very misleading. We stayed here for three nights; the place is basically run like a workers’ hostel from what we could tell. We were not informed about how to enter the building, and we never received an email with the entry code, even though we would have needed it. There was no staff anywhere. A waiter from the neighbouring restaurant helped us get in. We did not get the room we paid for: we had booked a double bed, but instead we received two single beds, and then we found out there isn’t even a double bed in the whole place. The room we got was dirty and full of rubbish. The waiter from the restaurant next door cleaned and tidied it for us. He told us that the next day we would meet the person operating the place. In reality, we never met the operator at all.

Bra enkelt boende där jag bor när jag jobbar i Stklm/Kallhäll. Mkt prisvärt. Bra möjligheter till matlagning. Jag använder inte ytterligare faciliteter som finns t ex restaurang. Har provat glassen i kiosken som är mkt god.

It was an unforgettable January week in a homely, cozy place tucked away in a snowy forest by a lake. The silence and comfort are something you wouldn’t expect from a hostel. It has everything you need to get a good night’s sleep, have breakfast, prepare for a busy day, and unwind in the evening. The chance to restore your psychological balance while walking along the illuminated forest paths and looking out over the water is hard to overestimate. Perhaps in the summer months this place isn’t quite as peaceful, but in winter it’s a perfect opportunity to recharge your batteries.

There wasn’t enough information where the toilets were located. Perhaps I overlooked something, or the information was only in Swedish. Nevertheless, the staff quickly provided clarification.

- Türen zu Schalldurchlässig. - Nur eine Kleine Elektroheizung, ging aber trotzdem von der Wärme her, glaube gibt ne Zentralklima .
