The hosts, Pedro and Maria were so welcoming and gave us maps and tips about the island. Their home was charming and they prepared an amazing breakfast which was sourced totally on the Azores. Wonderful experience.

We were welcomed with open arms and enjoyed our breakfast each morning. We were able to walk to many interesting places. Old town was only minutes away.

Guest house owners were very nice and friendly, the place was very clean.

Wifi was rather unreliable- I had to take a few work video calls and the connection was too slow to allow that, I had to use my mobile internet. Using common spaces (a living room and a terrace) felt a lot like intruding as the guesthouse owners were constantly there. The room itself was super tiny - it fit only a bed and had half a meter space to the right and left and maybe one meter at the legs side. Breakfast was a disappointment - it had a very limited selection of foods (jam, bread, fruit, processed meet, cheese, yogurt, tea, coffee) and no healthy options (no vegetables and no healthy proteins). Adding something simple like eggs and salad would have been a great improvement. My room’s windows faced the street, which was so loud with traffic, that if I was watching a movie on my laptop and a car was passing by, I couldn’t hear anything that was said.

We could not have chosen a better place to stay, to explore Ponta Delgardo. Pedro was a brilliant host , location very good, rooms very clean. Atmosphere very friendly and cosy. Tour buses pick up just down the road and a great choice (as recommended by Pedro) of restaurants within walking distance. Breakfast very good and relaxed.

Very close to city centre, close to the airport, good breakfast, very clean room (cleaning every day!) and very nice and helpful owners - I got city map with crucial information about visiting the city and places to eat, they also helped me to find some tours to interesting places :)

Urban noise, street lantern directly in the window (but it seems to be Azorean flavour ;) )

Pedro and Maria were fantastic hosts making you feel at home. They were happy to provide detailed information about the whole island, carefully recommending sites, routes, hiking and restaurants. Adelicious beakfast was set up beautifully with all local foods and enjoyed outside in the garden if the weather permitted. This also gave us the opportunity to meet some wonderful travelers. Our room was very comfortable for 2, spotlessly clean, beautiful traditional furniture, extremely comfortable bed, good wifi, contemporary bathroom with good shower, and the room overlooked the garden. Pedro's professional photographs of the Azorean landscapes adorn the walls giving the house a gallery feel. We thoroughly enjoyed our 3 night stay. It's very easy to get in and out of town with a car as parking was nearby. The town was easily walkable from Casadacidade. If you want the experience of living in a beautiful Azorean home with great hospitality, this is a wonderful opportunity.
