the room is clean, people are friendly; the food is also great!

The hotel is very clean. Spacious common areas and rooms. The gardens are gorgeous to sit in for a meal or a drink. The pool is clean and a nice bonus. The owner, Moussa, and his staff couldn't be nicer and do everything they can to make sure you have a nice stay. It's about a ten minute easy walk to the beach and the beach is clean and pretty with a few restaurants or you can wander away from people into nature.

Breakfast was offered but I opted for a coffee instead because I rarely eat breakfast. The location is good. The entire crew, manager, the driver, and cooks were awesome 👍🏾

Not easy to find with roads not existing on maps etc...

I was picked up from the airport by staff and taken comfortably to the location. The room was ready and the overnight stay comfortable. The next morning the breakfast was served in the garden with pool view. I could use my AMEX to pay for the hotel and airport transportation. Surely I will use the accommodation again for my next trip.

Maison Zarafah is one of those rare gems you may be lucky enough to come across on your travels. Tucked away on a hillside, a ten-minute easy walk up from the beach in the red-dusted sands on the Popenguine, this beautiful building sits in the middle of a walled-in lush garden with both shade and sun, a beautiful pool, and—best of all—a real sense of community, family and warm hospitality. I loved everything about this stay, especially the wonderful hosts Mame and Moussa, as well as Mia and the overall brilliant group of people who make it look effortless to make you feel at home. - Spacious, cool, comfortable rooms and giant bed - Delicious food, always freshly prepared by the chef team inquiring about exactly what you like - Such tranquility and sense of community - New, beautiful building - So well-priced and worth every penny I have stayed at other places in Popenguine and I can truly say I will never stay anywhere else again. Can't wait to be back. Jërërëf to you all!

The house is not right on the beach and that for me was the *only* minus - and a small one. I don't mind a little walk in the locality. It is also a bit of a walk to any store - but, Maison Zarafah really has everything you need.

Professional service, good food, rooms are clean and comfortable.

The team and the manager, Moussa , did a good job. All are very professional and try to fulfil any wish or be there for translation, driver or any other accommodation! Popenguine is very nice and blessed with beautiful nature, friendly people, and mix from village to town. I would like to come back to Zarfah, and the food from Aram and Rokhaya is so delicious ! Namonala ak Diarama! Merci for this holiday!!!
