YogStay Homestay in Kathmandu

A very good place for inexpensive and at the same time comfortable accommodation. This is a private house where it seems that everything has been done with care and love. - Excellent price. - Clean and quiet room. - Amazingly comfortable bed. - Very kind, polite, and caring hosts. - An amazing breakfast, which the hosts will prepare for you by hand with love in the morning. Breakfast is served on the upper floor with a balcony, from where there is a pretty good view of the surroundings. - There is a room for practicing yoga.

It seems that at night the entrance door to the courtyard is closed, so if you want to come back very late, it will probably be inconvenient. But I preferred to sleep at night in the amazingly comfortable and soft bed, so this did not affect my stay in any way. :))

I stayed at this homestay to visit Buddha stupa and the cremation site in Katmandu. The homestay is located only 15 min from the international airport. Regarding hot water, you need to request for it - I did not know that, so the first 2 days I had to take cold water shower ! The place is peaceful and quiet.

A really top place to stay. They make you feel welcome, valued, and will accomodate you as you are. Great location, healthy breakfast and a very fair and affordable price on the rooms.

Nicely decorated spacious room which gets good sunlight with little table and chairs good for sitting reading and drinking tea. Comfy bed with soft pillows and good duvet. Little balcony looks onto back of a windowless large building so not particularly good for hanging out on but does mean room gets total privacy even with curtains open. And terrace upstairs lovely to sit out on in the sun. Friendly lovely family. Tasty healthy breakfast. Brilliant little yoga studio with mats. Shared bathroom is with only one other person, very clean, shower is good pressure and temperature. Lots of nice little places to get tea and food nearby and only a short walk to Boudha Stupa.
