Remote location Great A/C in the bedroom Great refrigerator and fairly well equipped kitchen.

For a month, we were inconvenienced with noise and cement dust of a large construction project taking place 6 days/week right beside us. It made access to the property difficult at times, and by the time we checked out, our rental car was coated in a hard lime paste. No facilities to clean it off. Nails and construction materials on the road. A few small improvements would increase guest comfort alot. Foam cushions on the sofas are old and thin, bed linens are mediocre. The handrail on the stairs is only on the bottom half of the stairs. The upstairs comfort would also be improved if there was a ceiling fan. The location of the property means it isn't really practical for a long stay, as there is no access to a washing machine and it isn't practical to drive to Puerto Escondido to drop off washing and drive back 2 days later to pick up clean laundry. Yes, there is a BBQ, but you need to drive to PE to buy charcoal. We speak some Spanish, and for some reason I anticipated a staff member might speak a little English, but no, nada. It is Mexico, I know, but it would have helped planning activities.

Air conditioner is quiet.

No warning of: 1) you are trapped without a car; 2) noise construction next door; 3) nowhere to buy food & drinks; 4) no laundry service at all, not even a wash machine; 5) only changing sheets & towels after 4 days; 6) no suggestions on where to go; 7) cannot swim at that beach!

It's an absolutely beautiful place to spend quality time.

I did not like the the lights outside in the nighttime. I felt they were to strong and did not compliment the surrounding beauty. I also wish there were more comfortable chairs to use while on the beach.

The location is great but you must have a car.

For such a beautiful beach, it's a shame that the trash , although hardly any considering the area size, isn't picked up daily.

Friendly, helpful host. Great pool and room space, great beach access and beach walking.

Nice quiet getaway!

would have appreciated a heads up on bringing more of my own supplies. As the nearest store to buy any food is a bit far. But there was a restaurant that you can walk on the beach to get to.

Casa Piedra is amazing, really nice for a family and if you want to disconnect. The team is extremely careful and nice, and the location is on a beautiful virgin beach where you can see different kinds of birds and fishes. The bungalows are really nice, decorated with good taste and convenient. We will definitely come back as soon as possible.
