Podere Casalsole

Geweldige privé gelegen locatie met ruime huizen met goede douches (heel belangrijk voor ons) en bedden (is natuurlijk subjectief) en fijn zwembad die we grotendeels voor onszelf hadden. Perfecte uitvalsbasis om San Giminiano, Volterre en de Montepulciano streek te bezoeken en de dag te eindigen met een plons in het zwembad. Certaldo Alto, het oude centrum van het stadje waar dit verblijf zich bevindt, is overigens ook het bezoeken waard! Giacomo is een super gastvrije host en had zelfs verse cornetto’s voor ons als ontbijt zoetigheid op zaterdagmorgen. Heel veel dank en wij komen zeker terug!

This was in such a perfect central Tuscany location. The property is so well maintained & was spotlessly clean. Giacomo was such a friendly, lovely host who had great advice or help any time I messaged him! The pool was also perfectly maintained & had such a lovely countryside Tuscan view. I also loved the vintage Tuscan furniture & terracotta tiles.

A car is essential for both this property & the region. It is a 30 minute walk from Certaldo train station & there are very few local taxis. Getting around rural Tuscany is impossible without a car FYI! (This is not a bad thing about this property but something you should know!)

Giacomo jest bardzo pomocny. Udzielił nam wielu cennych wskazówek, gdzie zjeść, gdzie zrobić zakupy (wino i oliwa). Mieszkanie jest bardzo czyste. W oknach moskitiery. Bardzo fajny basen. Świetna lokalizacja do zwiedzania najważniejszych miast jak Piza, Florencja, Volterra, San Gimignano. Tyko kilka kilometrów od klimatycznego miasteczka Certaldo Alto.

Giacomo erg gastvrij en denkt met je mee. Alles werd geregeld, dus goede gastheer. Appartement is ruim en schoon. Fijn is dat er een wasmachine is en zwembad is een prettige bijkomstigheid na een uitstapje in Florence of Siena. Bbq aanwezig en daar paar keer gebruik van gemaakt. Stadje Certaldo is klein maar gezellig. Leuke kabelbaan naar het oude centrum met mooi uitzicht.

Er zaten best veel muggen in de avond. Dat beperkte het lekker buiten zitten soms. Koop goede kaarsen en deet, dat is een must. Appartement ligt net buiten Certaldo, dus niet lopend naar het stadje mogelijk en laatste 500 meter onverharde weg. De parkeerplaats soms lastig omhoog te komen door het losse grind en steile helling.

Logement rustique très propre. Piscine tres agréable.. Bien situé pour rayonner et visiter.

Dommage qu il ́ y ait pas de chemins pour se promener, l environnement le plus proche étant une zone industrielle. Il manque aussi des petites choses genre sel, huile etc

Giacomo ha sido un anfitrión maravilloso, ha estado siempre pendiente de nosotros en todo. Nos ha dado muy buenos consejos y recomendaciones para visitar la zona. Todo un placer.

The perfect location to explore Tuscany and experience local life, with a great host and excellent amenities. I’ll definitely come back — I just wish I had more time here.

Nothing. Everything was perfect

The location was really nice and our host Giacomo was a perfect 10!!! The apartment was very clean & well equipped and the host was very polite and always available for any assistance.

Excellent place. The host is very helpful and nice. Access is very easy and despite being in an industrial zone, it was very quiet. The apartment was fully stocked and in excellent condition. I would go back any time!

Not really soundproofed. You could hear the neighbours.
