The Grove

Location was ideal 2 minute walk into Whitby. Owners were lovely and friendly. Rooms were clean and everything you needed, even little fridge out in hallway with fresh milk

Lovely hosts. The full breakfast each day was delicious. The rooms were very clean and the beds comfortable.

It was a little bit cold in the evening when the heaters went off.

Hotel was clean, well appointed and a handy location for the town Staff were very friendly. Breakfast was excellent. We would definitely use again.

Negotiating the steep uneven steps serving the front and back doors at the property.

Elderly visitors and people who are infirm may struggle with the steep steps to access the property.

Always stay at The Grove when visiting Whitby. It an excellent guest house. Always a warm welcome. The Location is perfect, so close to the town centre and definitely within walking distance!! And parking onsite is a massive bonus in Whitby. Rooms are lovely and very comfortable, plenty of towels and tea/coffee etc. Fresh milk too!! Always helpful with local information. The Breakfast and Service is Very good too. We left very full. I would recommend The Grove to anyone!!
