Artist Cottage

Nice cozy cottage, well equipped. Location within walking distance of shops, restaurants. Very neat. Lanie went out of her way to get my things back to me that I left in the cottage.

Very spacious, equipped with virtually everything we needed and a comfortable place to eat, sleep and stargaze. Appreciated the useful and detailed information booklet and all the gear provided for colder weather. We enjoyed sitting outside by the fire pit and all the quirky decor inside.

We recommend another fan for the downstairs bedroom. This would help with the heat in the warmer months and with mosquitoes!

The location is perfect and central.

I think the security must be improved. The front yale lock is inadequate as it closes on a flimsy piece of loose metal. One shove... Proper bolts thru the frame into the lock and catchment metal. Metal bars on wooden shutter windows can be banged out (upward force) with a stick as it just hangs on loose clips. Once the property is known to be inhabited the locals come and beg at the front and back door. (no fence around property). Please improve security as making a trip with an expensive telescope and belongings makes it worrisome especially leaving the place for an extended walk.
