The Hill Village

The property had an amazing view, scooters available for hire, a nice pool, and was very quiet.

The room was very hot and the bedding was not conducive for muggsy conditions.

Another amazing stay, 6 years after visiting last time. Great improvements have been made to the exterior of the house and bathrooms.. very comfortable stay with great service.. see you in 2026 x

Amazing views. The peace and quiet Being alone, although there were other guests.

We liked everything. The walk back from the village was to much for us to attempt so we got a taxi

The pool was the best part - 10 stars for that alone. The view from the pool is unmatched - so stunning. A nice private quiet place with just a few villas that share the pool. The villa is very well equipped with a gas stove, microwave, kettle, blender, fridge freezer etc. Great shower room. A hammock and outdoor seating area on the porch was lovely. Mexican/Thai food Restaurant with free delivery to the villa was great. Short 5-10 minute walk to the beach & 15-20 minutes walk to town/ 7- eleven. Very steep hill as mentioned but if fit and healthy then not an issue. The beach is very lovely and good for swimming. One of the beach restaurants hosted evening entertainment every night (fire shows/ live music/ dancing). Very comfortable stay with lovely hosts. They gave me a lift to the ferry pier which was greatly appreciated as getting taxis on Koh Phangan is a chore!

Ants in the bathroom and kitchen. Be mindful to keep all food sealed (I kept mine in a bag and inside the microwave for food measure). Bed squeaky on one side but still comfortable. There wasn't the advertised cleaning service (to empty bins and change towels) but as I was only staying 2 nights it wasn't much of an issue.

Beautiful place. A house with an amazing view and two comfortable terraces. Inside, everything you need - air conditioning, well-equipped kitchen, clean bathroom, comfortable beds. I highly recommend it

The view from the pool is WOW! I could just stay there reading all day. The rooms were very well equipped with everything you need. It is a short scooter ride away from two very cute villages with lots of restaurants and bars. I would stay here again.

If you are not a confident scooter rider, be warned, the road to the place is very steep and uneven in places (like much of Koh Phangan). This is something which can’t be helped as the hotel is not responsible for roads. I would recommend practicing elsewhere if you’ve not ridden one before. It would have been nice touch to have a rain cover for the porch like the other huts on the property, so you could still sit outside if it’s raining and keep dry. The ‘garden’ view was looking on to the car/bike park also. However, this was one of the cheaper options, so maybe this is why.
